Equipment Performance Module

The Equipment Performance Module training course is a two-day instructor-led class that provides you with a fundamental overview of the concepts and terms associated with Wonderware's Equipment Performance Module. This module allows you to configure your system in a variety of ways to accomplish efficient data collection and analysis, and web reporting of your downtime events using the ArchestrA architecture.Equipment Performance Module can be applied to any production environment in order to have an accurate definition of your process behavior both in terms of events that you are interested in monitoring and knowing their running status. You can start modeling your process from top to bottom and down to a particular event that defines a downtime. One of the key features of the Equipment Performance Module is the Equipment Utilization QuickStart. This functionality provides a way to utilize its Model Builder software to create and configure an application within Wonderware Application Server and convert it to your DT Analyst application or vice versa.

Objective
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Use Equipment Performance Module to configure downtime tracking, monitoring, and reporting
  • Use Equipment Performance Module as a central downtime information repository and reporting tool
  • Retrieve and report the downtime data and utilize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Configure your application within Wonderware Application Server and export that information back into your DT Analyst application (or vice versa) using the Equipment Utilization QuickStart Model Builder.
